Associate Professor Doctor Architect Violeta Komitova completed her master’s degree in Architecture at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Sofia in 1980.
Associate Professor Doctor Architect Violeta Komitova has a number of specializations as follows: the De Montfort University in Leicester, Great Britain in 1994 and 1996, the University of East London in 1999 and the Dublin School of Architecture in 2000.
During her professional path she has gained experience in the scope of construction, investment projects, urbanization and urban planning, European projects under the PHARE, Tempus, Erasmus-Socrates programs and the Rural Development Programme.
She is a member of the Union of Architects in Bulgaria, the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria, the International Council for Research and Innovation in Buildings and Construction, Working Committees W63 (Affordable Housing) and W96 (Architectural Management).
She is a lecturer at the Architecture faculty of the UACEG.
