Angelina Boneva took over the management of MRDPW from Ivan Ivanov

The new caretaker Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Angelina Boneva officially took over the management of the department from her predecessor Ivan Ivanov. At the handover ceremony, Boneva said that her main mission over the next three months will be to work for fair elections, ensure stability in the sector and prevent shutdowns on key infrastructure projects. As a leading task in his work, the new Minister pointed out the organizational and technical preparation of the upcoming elections, in the part that is within the competence of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and the Civil Society Directorate-General. I am entering the Ministry with the clear task of being a good owner for these three months. My goal is not political promises, but expert management. MRDPW should not stop working - projects continue and transparency will be leading, Minister Boneva was adamant. The outgoing Minister Ivan Ivanov wished success to the caretaker cabinet and stressed that he leaves the ministry in good condition, with good progress on many of the key projects and the work on them to continue with high quality and at a good pace.
