European Groupings for Territorial Cooperation
The European Groupings for Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) are a tool for supporting the activities of partnering organisations under European Union’s territorial cooperation programmes.
The terms and conditions for their organisation are established in Regulation (EC) 1082/2006 of 5 July 2006 regarding EGTC amended by Regulation (EC) № 1302/2013 of 17 December 2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of Europe.
EGTC objective is encouraging and facilitate cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation between their members in favour of economic, social and territorial cohesion of the European Union.
