Celebration of the European Cooperation Day under the Cross-border Cooperation Programme between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Serbia

More than 30 people participated in an outdoor lesson in nature, organized under the Cross-border Cooperation Programme between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Serbia in partnership with Vitosha Nature Park on 21 September 2022 in an outdoor classroom between the villages of Bosnek and Chuipetlovo. The event was organized on the occasion of the XI celebration of the European Cooperation Day, an initiative that aims to remind citizens that united efforts and partnership bring excellent results.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, the Joint Secretariat of the Programme, Vitosha Nature Park, “Gora” magazine, the mayor of the villages of Bosnek and Chuipetlovo, the Natural and Mathematical High School “Hristo Smirnenski” - Pernik. The participants were introduced to the impact of human activity on the environment and encouraged to more responsible environmental behaviour.

The event ended with an award ceremony for the best photographs of young people aged 15-29 years old, received within the framework of a thematic photo contest for nature photos in the cross-border region, which took place in the period 01.08.2022 - 11.09.2022.
