Committee for the supervision of Trans- border cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey

45 drafts of projects for 13,1 million Euros have been approved during a joint meeting of the Common Committee for the supervision of the Program for Trans- border cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey. It will be held in Igneada. This program is co-financed by the Instrument for pre-accession assistance. This meeting has been attended by the Deputy Minister of Regional development and Public Works and the Head of the Managing unit Nikolay Nankov, and the Director of Directorate “Financial cooperation” at the Ministry of European issues of the Republic of Turkey Mehmet Süreyya Süner and Anna Repyuo Grao, representative of the Regional policy directorate of the European Commission.
It aims to implement common initiatives and practices through approved projects, which will improve the social and economical development and life in the trans- border region. 
A technical and financial progress report on the program has been presented during the meeting.The participants discussed its future for the next program period 2014+.
