Denitsa Nikolova: A jury of 13 people will choose a name, message and logo of the next operational program

A jury of 13 famous people of art and movies, electronic and publishing media will assess proposals for names, message and logo for the next operational program. That has been announced today at the Ministry of regional development and public works (MRDPW) by Denitsa Nikolova, Head of the Managing Unit of Operational program regional development 2007-2013.

She said what rules shall be observed for the visualization concourse. It includes three positions – say a name, message and develop a logo and presentation materials the best proposals will be awarded as follows:
- position 1 – BGN 2 000 for first place BGN 1 000 – second place and BGN 500– third place
- position 2 –  BGN 2 000 for first place  BGN 1 000 – second place and BGN 500 – third place
- position 3 –  BGN 10 000 for first place  BGN 7 000 – second place and BGN  5 000  - third place.

The members of jury will be:

1. Reader PhD Nikolay Mladenov, teaching at the National art academy
2. Milena Videnova, chief assistant of European projects and programs management in Information systems for European Union resources management, Council of ministers   
3. Jackie Stoyev, producer
4. Krasismir Uzunov, founder and owner of Focus agency
5. Kiril Vulchev, newsman Darik radio
6. Slavyanka Goranova, chief expert in Regional development Directorate, MRDPW
7. Lyuben Genov, chairman of the Union of Bulgarian painters
8. Yuri Dachev, writer, play-writer
9. Valery Zapryanov , publisher of Pressa newspaper and of Tema magazine
10. Venelyna Gotcheva, vice president of publishing house board Media group Bulgaria
11. Ekaterina Genova,director of BNT 2
12. Mario Handzhiev, chief expert of Law, assessment of risk and irregularities, Programming of regional development Directorate
13. Tzvetelina Dimitrova, chief expert of Programming, assessment, making public Unit, programming of regional development Main directorate –Jury’s chairman. 

Deadline for application: 5 September 2012. Juridical and physical person may apply.

The head of the Managing Unit of OPRD said what the foreseen priorities are for period 2014-2020. Тhey are:
- „Urban development ”,which includes activities of:

1.2 „Urban area including risk prevention”
1.3 „Zones which could develop in economics field”
1.4 „Infrastructure for sports”
1.5 „Cultural Infrastructure ”
1.6 „Integrated public transport”

1.8 „Heath and social infrastructure”
- „State educational infrastructure”
- „State heath and social infrastructure ”
- „Saving, popularizing and development of cultural and natural heritage ”.
- „Technical assistance”.
