Deputy Regional Development and Public Works Minister Roumen Mitov Meets with Japan Bank for International Cooperation

A delegation of the Japanese Bank for International Cooperation had a meeting today at the MRDPW. At the meeting were Deputy Minister Roumen Mitov, officers of the Foreign Ministry, the Finance Ministry and the Executive Agency on Roads. In the focus of talks was the project for building a highway between Sofia and Nis and the interest of the Japanese side to provide funding for a section of the highway. The two parties discussed the technical and financial parameters and Bank officials promised to send shortly a technical mission to look into the project details.
