First Call for Project Proposals Announced under Transnational Cooperation Programme “Danube” 2014-2020

The First Call for project proposals under the Transnational Cooperation Programme “Danube” 2014-2020 has been announced by a decision of the Monitoring Committee.
The call consists of two stages – submission of an Expression of Interest and submission of a Complete Application Form by the applicants approved at the first stage.
The first stage of the application - submission of an Expression of Interest to the Joint Secretariat of the Programme, is open until November 3, 2015.
The Invitation is open for project proposals related to the following thematic priorities:
- Innovative and socially responsible Danube region: encouraging innovations, transfer of knowledge and entrepreneurship;
- Environment and culturally responsible Danube region: preservation and management of the natural and cultural heritage and the resources in the Danube region;
- Better connected and energy responsible Danube region: development of sustainable and safe transport systems, stimulating energy efficiency;
- Well-governed Danube region: Specific Objective 4.1 Improving the capacity of the Institutions to tackle the major challenges to the society.
Тhe second stage of application within the First Call for proposals under the Programme is expected to be opened for submission of Application Forms in April - May 2016.
