Main Directorate „Civil registration and administration services” began a check on a subscription for organization of a referendum for building of Nuclear power plant Belene

Main Directorate „Civil registration and administration services” made arrangements to start a check on a subscription list for organization of a national referendum. The consultation subject is: „Should nuclear energy be developed in Bulgaria and shall Nuclear plant Belene be build?”

A check is assigned to the National Parliament in compliance with art. 13, аl.2 of the Involvement of citizens in state and local government Act.

The subscription list is submitted today with a receipt document. It contains 134 folders and about 6 000signature in each of them. According a data of people who submit it , the subscription list contains 770 277 people.
