Minister Ivanov held a meeting with the President of the Committee of the Regions Kata Tüttő

The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ivan Ivanov held today a working meeting with the President of the European Committee of the Regions Kata Tüttő.

The two discussed the country's work on the EU Cohesion Fund, which in our country is also implemented through MRDPW-managed programmes.

Minister Ivanov pointed out that Bulgaria's expectation is that this fund will continue to function in its current form and hopes that our country will receive support for this from other EU member states as well. He recalled that this was also stated in a declaration adopted by ministers responsible for cohesion policy during a ministerial meeting last month in Warsaw.

The Regional Minister and the President of the Committee also discussed the work of our country on programs to increase the energy efficiency of residential buildings, the provision of social housing - new and renovated, as well as on the Just Transition Fund.
