Minister Lilyana Pavlova opened the renewed public area in Purvomai

The Minister of regional development and public works Lilyana Pavlova opened the renewed public area in Purvomai.

Purvomai is an active small municipality in the country, which have done a few projects of Operational program regional development – OPRD. They concern public areas, such as the one we opened, and also prevention against flooding, Minister Pavlova said.  I wish to all citizens of Purvomai to use their new site with luck. When I travel to here, I noticed that 16 asphalt coated streets do not have markings. Therefore I ask the mayor, to do, with resources of the municipality, a marking of the streets so that traffic is saved. The playgrounds here are one of the most beautiful in the country. Let grannies and mothers, we need, use this items with pleasure, she said.

The project „Renewal of public areas in Purvomai Municipality and ensure better conditions for relaxation of population” under OPRD amounts to BGN 4 020 862.64. This investment includes refurbishing 16 streets and implementing energy saving street lighting. The project includes as well reconstructing pavements and cycling areas, modernizing sport areas, laying out and creation of an area for relaxation.

During this visit minister Pavlova and the head of the managing unit of the OPRD Denitsa Nikolova participated in a information meeting. It took place within the scheme „Support for development of e regional tourist product and marketing for destinations II” under OPRD.
