Minister Pavlova has opened a rehabilitated road in Varna region

Today we open a rehabilitated road, which is important for the population of the region. It has been rehabilitated when I was three years of age, said when cutting a string on road III-904 (I-9) Staro Oriahovo-Dolmi Chiflik-Grozdyovo-Bozvelyisko-(Provadya-Dulgopol)-III-208 the Minister of regional development and public works Lilyana Pavlova.

The repaired section is 12, 238 кm long. It repair works amount to BGN 4 698 321.02 VAT included and refurbishing works have been performed by Putishta i mostove Company. Dema –T7 Company has completed supervision works. The resources for it are BGN 39 450.That will be financed by the Operational program regional development.

According to Minister Pavlova this section of road is important as it enables local people to travel to nearest urbanized areas to work and where children study. „I assigned to Road infrastructure agency to work on design for the remaining 50 kilometers to Varna and so we will provide financing for them within the next program period and we will travel quicker and faster”, Pavlova said.

This road is quite important for a development of the North east region. It is a shortest way to Shumen, Razgrad, Russe, Turgovihste and Silistra to the South Black Sea. 

Minister Pavlova promised local people to build a culvert on this road and that it will be on API‘s /Road infrastructure agency/ account. This culvert will lead rain water to a river. „The mayor of Grozgyovo shall make repairs of river’s runway and clean it to avoid flooding of houses” said the Minister.
