Minister Pavlova opened the renewed urban area in Balchik

Over BGN 15 millions are the resources of Operational Program “Regional development” invested in Balchik. It had been used to improve roads, confirmation of kinder gardens and schools. A forthcoming project of renewal of a local hospital and new equipment for it will be bought. Those were the words of the Minister of regional development Lilyana Pavlova when she opened the project for improved urban area. Balchik is a very active municipality and applies for various operational programs, so I wish them good luck to successfully manage to receive financing, she added.

BGN 3 million is used for the rehabilitation of streets the building of pedestrians’ areas, cycling areas, two public car parks with places for disables people and new playgrounds.

By completing this project, Balchik municipality will have the opportunity to attract more investments, so young people can stay in their own town to work and live, concluded Minister Pavlova.
