Minister Pavlova opened the road Sungurlare – Mudrino

„No small or large roads– they are all important. To people. It is more important that we travel safely.” This has been said in Sungurlare by the minister of regional development and public works Lilyana Pavlova. She opened today the repaired and renewed road Sungurlare Mudrino together with a member of the Managing unit of Road infrastructure agency (RIA) eng. Iliana Zaharieva , the deputy governor of Burgas Atanas Zahariev and the mayor of Sungurlare Georgi Kenov. Minister Pavlova is on a two day trip to the region.

„About BGN 1 Millard are invested in Burgas region under Operational program “Regional development” (OPRD). They are needed to build an educational, road and heath infrastructure. Being a Minister of regional development I consider as important all regions to develop successfully so that no desert regions exist, so that people everywhere stay and work in their town”, minister Pavlova said when she opened the road Sungurlare Mudrino.

The rehabilitation of this road is financed under a program “General repair “RIA with state budget resources. The project is finished 5 months in advance. This road has not been repaired for 29 years. Through this project 12 km have been repaired.

Later on minster Pavlova check the completion of activities, financed by OPRD in Karnobat. In this region are done 6 projects of a value of BGN 19.2 million.

Minister Pavlova will visit the honey festival in Tzarevo tomorrow.
