Minister Plevneleiv opened the renovated largo in Bourgas

„2,5 billion leva are about to be poured into our economy during the next few months. What makes us extremely proud is that Bourgas is the city, which managed to implement a great number of projects. They are of great importance not only to the town but to the whole region.” Those were the words of Minister Plevneliev when he opened the ceremony on the renovated largo in Bourgas.

The main street of Bourgas, called “Aleksandrovska”, is fully renovated under the project
„Improvement of significant public spaces in favor of social integration and sustainable urban development in the municipality of Bourgas", funded by the OP “Regional development”.

The funds are estimated to 10 364 242 leva. “Morskata gradina”, the sports facilities in front of the “Home of Nadejda”, the streets of “Gen. Gurko” and “Adam Mitskevich” are also renovated, along with the main street.

The project for the pedestrianized zone of Bourgas will take part in the “World Forum of Architects” in Tokio, during the month of September 2011.
