Minister Plevneliev is visiting Gotse Delchev

Tomorrow, May 4, 2011 (Thursday), the Minister of Regional Development and Public works Rosen Plevneliev will pay a one-day working visit to the town of Gotse Delchev.

During his visit, Minister Plevneliev will visit the second school in the city, where he studied, and laid flowers to commemorate 120 years since its foundation.

The Minister will open the renovated residential building. The renewed building is under the “Demonstration Project for Renovation of Residential Buildings ", which is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public works the United Nations’ Development Programme (UNDP). There are two buildings, with 48 households, renovated under the project. Currently, there has been a working process on another building.

During his visit in the municipality, the Minister along with the city mayor Vladimir Moskov and MPs from the region will lay flowers at the monument of Gotse Delchev.

Later the same day Minister Plevneliev will open nine kilometers of rehabilitated road -Gotse Delchev - Delchevo. The road was repaired under the Operational Programme "Regional Development". The total value of the rehabilitation is estimated to 4,807,873 leva.

At the end of his visit, Minister Rosen Plevneliev will meet with representatives of the Association of Entrepreneurs, from the region of Gotse Delchev.
