Minister Plevneliev will participate in a roundtable entitled”Opportunities and limitations for civil supervision: the example of Trakia motorway”

Tomorrow, May 5, 2011, at 10.00 am, in Alexander Hall-Radisson Hotel, the Minister of Regional Development and Public works Rosen Plevneliev will participate in a roundtable discussion, entitled "Opportunities and limitations for civil supervision: the example of Trakia motorway” .

Transparency International is organizing the forum.

Experts from the NGO will submit a report on the monitoring of the civil observation on the procedure for the award and execution of the contract for the construction of the infrastructure site during the meeting.

Afterwards, representatives of the contract authority, the executor and the organizations, who had conducted the supervision at the segments of Lot 2, Lot 3 and Lot 4- Trakia motorway, will discuss the difficulties, they had encountered during the process of monitoring.

The monitoring was carried out in October 2009 - February 2011. Its main focus was on the transparency and publicity of the building process of one of the most important infrastructure projects in the country.
