Minister Terzieva started the repairation of the “Zlatishki” passage

The Minister of Regional Development Desislava Terzieva started the prevention repair of the “Zlatishki” passage, funded with BGN 5 million under the Public investment program of the government.
During the event Terzieva stated that up to the middle of the summer the first stage of the repair must be finished. It includes a 10 km section of the passage, which was closed for traffic for nearly 20 years.
„Today’s event is the consecutive proof, that the Public investment program of the government  works“, mentioned the Minister of Regional Development.
During a briefing for the media Minister Terzieva announced, that this year over BGN 20 million will be invested in the region of Sofia under the Public investment program. About BGN 7 million of them are for repairation of roads – “Zlatishki” passage and the “Samokov-Jivkovo- Ihtiman” road. By over BGN 13 million are financed projects of municipalities from the region of Sofia for roads, urban areas, and sport and education infrastructure.
Terzieva underlined, that the building of highways continues, but small roads are also a priority. According to her the marked  at the mandate beginning policy - namely to improve the condition of the second and third class road network- is already a fact and is secured by additional BGN 50 million under the Public investment program of the government. 
Terzieva reminded that the European Comission did approve the financing of the West arc of the Sofia ring road and the site’s first stage is going according to the schedule.
Both lots of the “Maritsa” highway, lot 4 of the “Struma” highway, the first stage of the West arc of the Sofia ring road and the ring road of Vratsa, funded under OP “Transport” will be completed before the end of the year, reminded the Minister of Regional Development.
