Minister Nikolay Naydenov

Nikolay Naydenov is a long-standing lecturer in Cartography and GIS at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy. He has extensive professional experience in investment, design and spatial planning. By education, he is a geodetic engineer and holds a PhD in the scientific field of “Cartography” at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy.

He was appointed Caretaker Deputy Minister of Regional development and Public works on 24 February 2026. Prior to that, he held the position of Deputy Minister in 2023 and in 2024.

He was appointed as Caretaker Minister of Regional development and Public works on 10 March 2026.
