Deputy Minister Radoslav Rusev
Radoslav Rusev holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.”
He has 25 years of experience in the Water Supply and Sanitation sector. He has held various expert and managerial positions in water supply and sewerage operators in Bulgaria. He has also participated in and led numerous consultancy projects in the field of water management across different countries.
In the period 2014–2015, he served as Deputy Minister and advisor at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works. He took part in the preparation of sector reforms and in negotiations with the European Commission regarding their implementation.
He is the founder of an Utility Management Training program in the Danube region.
He is fluent in English, German and Russian.
He was appointed Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works on April 2, 2026.
