Minster Gagauzov to open a new bridge over Ogosta River in Montana

The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Asen Gagauzov will open tomorrow a new bridge over Ogosta River in the town of Montana. The bridge is a part of the road-bed of the international road E 79. The amount of the repair works is about 1,7 million lv. The means are envisaged by the state budget under “Capital Construction” Program of Road Executive Agency (REA). The bridge is among the projects included in an agreement document for co-financing of road infrastructure facilities in the region. The two sides on the agreement protocol, signed in March 2002, are REA and Montana Municipality. It envisages construction of the new bridge over Ogosta River, reconstruction of the old bridge and an existing pedestrian passage way as well as construction of supporting walls. The construction of the site started in 2002. Contractor on the construction works is “Moststroy” AD and the consultant is “Patinvestingenering” AD.
