MRDPW headquarters are going to be refurbished with resources from the Kozloduy found

The Ministry of economics, energy and tourism has approved today a project for Amelioration of the energy efficiency of the MRDPW headquarters – Sofia. It is amounting to BGN 737 414, 10. The financing is ensured by grant „Identification of project lines for financing or co-financing from International found Kozloduy (2010-2013).
After the project is completed, the cost of energy will be reduced by 497 885 KwH/per year (19, 83%) or 211 tons/ per years of emissions of carbon dioxide. It is expected to save BGN 57 784.85 every year.
The savings will be reached through removal of the suspended façade and window frames of both buildings, regulate and maintain buildings’ temperature. The efficiency of both climatic chambers and air conditioning system of the Press center will be increased.
After this project is completed the individual purpose for energy savings will be achieved to 100% already during period 2012-2014.
