On 13.04.2004, Tuesday, at 10.30 Minister Cerovski will accept the Transport, Public Works and Water Management Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Ms. Karla Peijs. She will make a one-day visit to Bulgaria by invitation of her counterpart the Vice President and the Transport and Communications Minister Mr. Nikolay Vassilev. Minister Cerovski and Ms. Peijs will sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the two ministries in the sphere of the road infrastructure. The extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bulgaria Baroness Henriette van Linden will also be present at the meeting and at the official ceremony. The Memorandum between the Bulgarian Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and the Netherland’s Ministry of Transport will be signed in the framework of the programme of the Netherland’s government “Partners for Roads” and will have effect for two years. It contributes to the creation of a basis for bilateral cooperation in the sphere of development and maintenance of the road infrastructure. The ceremony of signing the document, which will be held in the MRDPW at 11 o’clock, is opened for the media. Afterwards the Ministers Valentin Cerovski and Karla Peijs will make statements.
