Road Executive agency experts from the Ministry of regional development and public works held an information meeting in relation to the tender procedure for the choice of a contractor on the project for Ljulin motorway building.
During the meeting the experts clarified the questions arisen and consulted all the present candidates. 92 were the registered participants in the information meeting.
Road Executive agency will work out an appendix to the trend documentation in which further details on the questions discussed will be exposed. The appendix will be shipped to all candidates who have bought the tender documents.
Candidates can receive further information if they send a formal questioning to Road Executive agency by Sept. 20th.
The offers of the candidate–constructors will be accepted until 12h on Oct. 11th 2005 in Road Executive agency. Candidates for participation in the tender can be firms as well as consortiums from EU member countries, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Albania, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro. The candidates for constructors of the motorway must have accomplished successfully at least two similar projects after 1999, each of them amounting to over EUR 40 mln.
Ljulin motorway is in the direction of the Pan-European transport corridor № IV in the part Vidin–Sofia–Kulata and will connect Sofia ring road - Malo Buchino – Goliamo Buchino – Daskalovo road junction.
Its total length is 19 km. The motorway will have two carriage-ways and one accident-way in each direction. The project drive speed will be 100-110 km/h. Three tunnels with total length 1260 m, 26 bridges and viaducts with total length 6 000 m as well as 3 road junctions and reinforcing walls with total length of 2 762 m will be built on the road.
