Solely the mayor of Varna Municipality can impose an interdiction on the construction in Morska Gradina

„The mayor of Varna Municipality has to assign the preparation of a detailed regulatory plan (DRP) for Primorski park. It will be within the common one, and impose an interdiction on the construction in compliance with art.198 of the Territory Regulation Act. That has been pointed in the protocol of decisions, written after a meeting of the National Experts Council for regulation of territory and regional politic. It took place on 21 August 2012 and over 30 representatives of the state and local authorities attended it.

Yesterday, the Minister of regional development and public works Lilyana Pavlova signed orders for approval of the final project for a Common regulatory plan (CRP) of Varna Municipality, Rules and norms for its application and Specific rules and norms attached. 

With regard to the contradictory and incorrect interpretations that have occurred in some media, the press center of the MRDPW is being authorized to remind that the procedure of the plan approval is over. There is a forthcoming release of the orders in the State gazette. Solely, the mayor of Varna is authorized to issue an interdiction on the construction, as well as to assign the preparation of a detailed regulatory plan for Primorski Park, according to the parameters of the approved CRP yesterday.
