The Documentation for Supervision on “Ljulin” Motorway Has Been Approved

The Delegation of EC to Bulgaria has approved the documentation for announcement of an international tender for independent surveillance on the project for construction of “Ljulin” motorway. The publication of the procurement notice on the site of EC is at hand. After that Road Agency to MRDPW will start recruiting application forms for participation.
The Financing memorandum envisages funds for building of the 19 km motorway road-bed and for the implementation of independent supervision during the construction works.
In June 2005 was started the procedure for offer recruitment for the building of “Ljulin” motorway. The deadline for offer submission is 26 October 2005.
“Ljulin” motorway is on the direction of Pan-European transport corridor N IV in its part Vidin – Sofia – Kulata and will connect Sofia ring-road – Malo Buchino – Goliamo Buchino – Daskalovo road junction.
The cost of the project is MEUR 148.45 of which MEUR 111.338 free funds from the budget of the EC and MEUR 37.112 on Bulgarian side.
