The fifth edition of the Cities Forum will take place on 16 and 17 March 2023 in Turin

The fifth edition of the Cities Forum, organised by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy, will take place on 16 and 17 March 2023 in Turin, Italy. This year’s motto is: “Together for green and fair cities”.

During the event, the European Urban Initiative (EUI), www.urban-initiative.eu, will be officially launched, bringing several important topics into focus. The main focus will be on innovation, sharing and inspiration for sustainable urban development in Europe.

Another important topic to be discussed at the forum will be the role of cities in implementing the European Green Deal and implementing strategic approaches in addressing climate change and environmental protection.

The event will discuss the role of small and medium-sized urban areas in bringing Europe closer to citizens and driving a green and just transition.
