The national Information day on the Transnational cooperation Program “Danube” 2014-2020 will be held in connection to the second invitation for project proposals.

On 9th of March 2017 in Best Western Hotel, 49 “Tsarigrdsko shoes” Boulevard, in Sofia, the National information day will take place in connection to the upcoming proclamation of The second invitation of recruiting of projects proposal on the Program for transnational cooperation 2014-2020.

The information day is organized by the Joint secretariat of the program and the General directorate “Management of territorial cooperation”, Ministry of Regional development and public works.

The program “Danube” 2014-2020 will be presented in the frame of the event and the opportunities for the elaboration of project proposals, which will contribute for the development of the Danube’s region, will also be examined

With total budget around 263 million euro, the program will support projects for transnational cooperation in accordance with the priorities of the Strategy of the European union for the Danube river region, in support of the increasing innovations and entrepreneurship, protection of the national and cultural heritage and the resources in the region of Danube river, improving connectivity and support crossing to low-carbon economics.

The territorial coverage of the program overlaps with that of  the Strategy and includes regions of 9 country members of the European Union (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary , Germany, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia) and 3 countries outside European Union(Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro). Moldova and four regions of Ukraine also can participate in programs with financing from European instrument for neighborhood.

The second invitation is expecting to be open for filing of Forms for application during the spring of 2017.

The invitation will be open for project proposal for specific goals: 1.2, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 and 3.2 and limited  to some themes in the frame of specific goals:1.1, 2.1 and 3.1. More information and documentation for the proposal are published on the internet page of the program.

The meeting on 9th of march 2017 is directed to potential beneficiaries – national regional and local authorities, publicly legal organizations, NGOs and representatives of business. In the forum will participate representative of Joint Secretariat of the program who will explain the requirements on the second invitation for proposal and leading Bulgarian partner from the first invitation.

People who want to participate in the event should fill electronic registration form for participate at the latest of 6th of march 2017. For participation is allowed just one representative from an institution/organization. Every person who has register, will received acknowledgement or refusal for registration on his/her email address.

On exhaustion of the capacity of the hall, the registration will automatically be refused before the death line for registration.

Working language on the seminar: presentations on English and Bulgarian language with provided translation for questions and discussions.

All people who want to participate as partners in the projects in the second invitation for proposals and to receive an individual consultation for preparation of project proposal from representative of Joint Secretariat in the frame of the informational day have to:

  • Fill registration form for participation in the event
  • Describe his/her own project idea in the Form for individual consultation and to ask for consultation through sending a form to Joint secretariat at: marius-valentin@ngm.gov.hu.
