Two contracts within the OPRD have been signed with the Employment agency in the MRDPW

In presence of the Minister of regional development and public works Lilyana Pavlova, the Head of the Managing Unit of OPRD and the Secretary general of the Employment agency Radoslav Ivanov, two contracts have been signed for free financial aid. The resources amount to BGN 709 228.43 and they are granted to improve and modernize the infrastructure of 4 employment agencies regional offices. They are located in Nova zagora, Pleven, Pernik and Samokov.
It is foreseen to complete audits for energy consumption and implementation of measure for energy efficiency of buildings. Equipments using alternative reusable energy sources will be installed. Access of disable people will improve.
As a result of the project realization, employment agencies and 107 426 people going to them will benefit of it. Aforesaid number includes 3572 disable people and 18 950 minority people.
The approved projects are part of scheme BG161PO001/1.1-04/2008 „Support for ensuring of a suitable and efficient infrastructure of employment agencies, contributing to develop stable urban areas”. These are financed entirely by the European found for regional development.
