“Bulgarian regions visit card” to be presented at a conference

The results of a project “Bulgarian regions visit card” will be presented at a closing conference in Plovdiv on 27 December 2005. The project has been carried out by the Directorate “Strategic Planning of Regional Policy” of MRDPW and has been financed by the Communication Strategy for the Accession of Bulgaria to the EU. The conference will be opened by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Asen Gagauzov. The project objective is to present Bulgaria and its planning regions through digital and print cartographic materials. They contain information about the administrative and territorial structure, the infrastructure projects and etc. These materials will contribute for the development of the information and communication system on the regional policy issues and will support the planning and programming process of regional development. Representatives of the district administrations, the involved ministries, economical and social partners, NGOs, representatives of the EC Delegation in Sofia have been invited for participation at the conference.
