Deputy Minister Desislava Georgieva

Deputy Minister Desislava Georgieva has been working on the management of programs and projects financed by EU funds since 2007. She has held various positions in the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works within her professional development. In the period 2012-2016 he was a representative of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria to the EU. From 2018 to May 2026, he was Director of the Territorial Cooperation Management Directorate at the Ministry. In the period from August 2022 to April 2023, he served as caretaker Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works.

She graduated in European Studies at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Kliment Ohridski” and International Economic Relations at the UNWE.
