Deputy Minister Kalin Rogachev Opened The International Seminar On Sustainable Housing Management

Deputy Minister Kalin Rogachev opened the International Seminar on Sustainable Housing Management organised in the framework of a project under MATRA program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The seminar, which takes place today and tomorrow, will discuss the following three topics: legislation and policy concerning the associations of the homeowners in many-storeyed buildings; mechanisms for financing and implementation of projects for reconstruction/refurbishment of residential buildings; restructuring of the housing estates and rising of the consumer and market value of the owned estates. On a plenary session introducing the legislation of the housing policy Deputy Minister Rogachev gave a lecture on “Housing policy and legislation in Bulgaria” and introduced the draft law on the storey property on a plenary session.
