Deputy Minister Savin Kovachev gave a lecture on Distribution of competences on construction supervision

Deputy Minister Savin Kovachev gave a lecture on the distribution of competences on construction supervision at a discussion forum on “Distribution of supervision functions in construction process between the central and local authorities” organised by the Directorate for National Construction Supervision. In his lecture Deputy Minister Kovachev underlined that the efforts on behalf of MRDPW are aimed at the decentralization of construction supervision, enhancement of the supervision potentiaries and powers of the municipalities, specification of the consultant responsibilities and elimination of the dualism at the writing of statements of conclusion and cessation of construction sites. In the framework of the discussion were formulated recommendations for optimization and synchronization of the legislation and improvement of the regulations on this type of supervision. Representatives of the central and local authorities, branch construction, professional and civil organizations as well as academic and research centers took part in the discussion forum.
