Deputy Minister Savin Kovachev to open a Forum for Distribution of the supervision functions in the construction process between the central and local authorities

The Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Savin Kovachev will open tomorrow a discussion forum on “Distribution of the supervision functions in the construction process between the central and local authorities”. The Forum has been organised by the Directorate for National Construction Supervision and is to take place in Princess Hotel in Sofia. The purpose of the Forum is the enhancement of the construction supervision effectiveness by clear and precise distribution of the functions on its application between the central and local authorities. Recommendations for optimization and synchronization of the legislation and improvement of the regulations of this kind of supervision are expected to be formulated. The pursuits in a long-term plan are to be laid the fundaments for the formation of a clear and active policy regarding the stable development of the territory and specifically of the urbanized milieu so that it receive wide institutional and public support.
