Deputy Prime Minister Grozdan Karadjov discussed the priorities of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works with HE Herro Mustafa

The continuation of the excellent partnership and the good dialogue between Bulgaria and the United States were discussed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Grozdan Karadjov and the US Ambassador to Bulgaria, HE Herro Mustafa.

Deputy Prime Minister Karadjov presented the strategic infrastructure sites that the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works will work on in the coming years and outlined the challenges related to them. He informed that the design and construction of tunnels under Petrohan, under Shipka peak and along the Black Sea highway is forthcoming. Among the important sites for our country is the completion of the Hemus highway. It is planned to work on new bridges between Bulgaria and Romania on the Danube, the Deputy Prime Minister informed.

The two reaffirmed the crucial importance of the Transport Corridor No. 8, the developed road and transport infrastructure for improving connectivity.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Ministers Yavor Penchev and Delyana Ivanova, Katerina Gramatikova - Head of the Political Cabinet of Minister Karadjov.
