“I am convinced that we are launching this programme at the right time and I hope that the first holders of bachelor and master degrees will come out in 2007 when Bulgaria will actually be part of the European family,” Tserovski said after the signing of a Memorandum on Cooperation between the Ministry of Territorial Development and Public Works and VFU Chernorizets Hrabar. The first stage in the implementation of the Memorandum envisages the launching of a European Projects Management Master’s Programme. Its objective is to enhance the professional training of state administration officers in programming, planning, managing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating projects financed under EU programmes. The signing of the Memorandum and the presentation of the Programme was attended by HE Dimitris Kourkoulas, Head of the Delegation of the European Commission in Bulgaria. Later at an official ceremony at the University Ambassador Dimitris Kourkoulas was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of VFU Chernorizets Hrabar. PR and International Activities Directorate
