INTERREG VІ-А IPA Bulgaria-Turkey 2021-2027 - Programme bodies

The Managing Authority is the "Territorial Cooperation Management" Directorate, Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria - responsible for the management of the programme in accordance with the principle of sound financial management.

The National Authority is the European Union Affairs Directorate, General Directorate of Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation, Republic of Turkey, which cooperates with the Managing Authority in the joint programming, management and implementation of the programme.

A joint Monitoring Committee reviews the overall effectiveness, quality and consistency of the implementation of all actions in order to achieve the goals set out in the Programme. It consists of representatives of national and regional administrations and authorities and other interested parties, including non-governmental organizations from both countries.

A Joint Secretariat supports the day-to-day activities of the Managing Authority, the National Authority and the Joint Monitoring Committee and, when necessary, the Certification Authority and the Audit Authority in the performance of their duties. It also provides information and assistance to beneficiaries of the Programme.
