INTERREG VI-A Greece-Bulgaria 2021-2027 - Programme bodies

Managing Authority – Ministry of Development and Investments of the Republic of Greece. The managing body is responsible for the implementation of the Programme in accordance with the principles of good financial management.

National Authority - Pursuant to Decision No. 712 of the Council of Ministers of October 6, 2020, the "Territorial Cooperation Management" Directorate at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRDPW) performs the functions of a National Authority under the programme. The main functions performed by the National Authority are the provision of the system for the first level of control of the expenses incurred by the Bulgarian beneficiaries.

Monitoring Committee - similarly to the previous programme periods, the main body for making decisions on the Programme and monitoring the implementation of programme goals and results is the Monitoring Committee.

Joint Secretariat and Contact Points - The programme management structures will be supported by the Joint Secretariat and Information Units, which will provide interested parties with information on published calls and application requirements, as well as support to beneficiaries in project implementation.
