Interstate working group to discuss the construction of the Sofia-Nish Motorway

An interstate working group with Bulgaria and Serbia representatives should be formed to discuss the possibilities for enhancement of the building of the Sofia-Nish Motorway, the possibilities for building a Sofia-Nish-Belgrad gas-pipeline and the enhancement of the traffic capacity of the CBCPs between Bulgaria and Serbia. That was the agreement reached today at the meeting between the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Asen Gagauzov and the Serbian Minister of Capital Investments Velimir Ilich. Mr. Ilich is on a two-day visit in our country at the invitation of Minister Gagauzov. Representatives of MRDPW, the Ministry of Economy and Energy and the Ministry of Transport are expected to be included in the working group on Bulgarian side. The investors interested on the building of the motorway Sofia-Nish demand the awarding of the whole project to them and not only parts of it, therefore Bulgaria and Serbia should participate together in the project realization, underlined Minister Ilich.
