Minister Avramova met with Polish Ambassador Maciej Szymanski

Today the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Petya Avramova held talks with the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Bulgaria His Excellency Maciej Szymanski. They discussed a wide range of topics of mutual interest and noted the good cooperation between the countries.

We are open to a mutual dialogue with similar ministries from other European countries and strengthening cooperation, Minister Avramova emphasised.

The Regional Minister briefed his guest on the implementation of infrastructure projects in the country.  In response to his interest, the Minister briefed him on the stages through which a road project is implemented.

Among the topics discussed were housing policy and measures to support vulnerable population groups, in which various agencies are involved.  Petya Avramova noted that funds from the Operational Programme "Regions in Growth" managed by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works finance the construction of social housing.
