Minister Gagauzov introduced the MRDPW priorities before diplomat-economists

The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Asen Gagauzov was a special guest to the regular meeting of the Diplomat-Economists Club organised by the Center for Economic Development. The Club, which was established in 2002, unites economic and commerce advisors of the foreign embassies and the delegations of international organizations in Sofia. Minister Gagauzov introduced to the diplomats the MRDPW program, the accents in the policies and the basic priorities. The Minister underlined that the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works has a very special place in the structure of the Government and is evoked to ensure the pursuance of the national policies for regional development and physical planning and to organize the building of a national road infrastructure. It is necessary as well to carry out the reforms in the water sector and in the cadastre, to create administrative and program capacity for effective absorption of the EU means in support of the Bulgarian municipalities and to play a leading role in the process of decentralization and stabilization of the local and regional governance.
