Minister Gagauzov Will Open the Repaired Road “Debrashtitsa Village – Batak Dam – Tsigov Chark“

On 24 October 2005, Monday, the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Asen Gagauzov will open the road section “Debrashtitsa Village – Batak Dam –Tsigov Chark” repaired under the project called “Roads Access to Tourism Sites”. The “Road Access to Tourism Sites” project is funded under the PHARE Programme. Opening the road section “Debrashtitsa Village – Batak Dam –Tsigov Chark” ends Lot 2 of the project, under which three road sections in Pazardjik district with total length of 32 km were repaired. The other two rehabilitated roads connect the Orpheus Hut with the Tsigov Chark area, and Kalugerovo village with the St. Nikola Monastery. The total amount of the construction works is ? 3 275 000. The “Roads Access to Tourism Sites” project aims to facilitate the access to famous natural landmarks, to stimulate the tourism business in the regions, and to create conditions for raising employment.
