Minister Komitova discussed the possibilities for accelerating the repair of the road Srednogortsi - Rudozem with the regional governor of Smolyan

The possibilities for accelerating the repair works on the republican road II-86 Srednogortsi - Rudozem were discussed by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works - arch. Violeta Komitova with the regional governor of Smolyan - Stefan Sabrutev. The two agreed that the section of the road that is currently being repaired should be completed as soon as possible, as the route goes to the Rudozem-Xanthi border checkpoint and is important for the region.

During the meeting, the regional governor presented to the Minister key road sites that need to be implemented as soon as possible and which are of great socio-economic importance for the residents of Smolyan. Among the road sections on which the work needs to be accelerated are the bypass roads of Rudozem and Chepelare, a bridge facility at the exit from Rudozem to the border with Greece, as well as the road Asenovgrad - Chepelare.

The Regional Governor of Smolyan informed Minister Komitova about the progress of the repair works on the road Sokolovtsi - Banite, which is undergoing a complete reconstruction worth BGN 44 million. The funds are provided under the programme for current repairs and maintenance of the Road Infrastructure Agency.

During the meeting, the regional minister discussed issues related to the work of Water and Sewerage - Smolyan and got acquainted with the implementation of the water cycle of the city.
