Minister Pavlova met the state Minister of Interior, Construction and Transport of Bavaria Joachim Herrmann

The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Mrs. Lilyana Pavlova, met the state Minister of Interior, Building and Transport of the Free State of Bavaria, Federal State of Germany, Mr. Joachim Herrmann.

Minister Pavlova presented to the foreign Minister the priorities of the Bulgarian government in the field of transport infrastructure – completion of the motorway ring of the country and upcoming introduction of the toll system. The new system will meet the requirements of EU for integration of the systems for payment of these fees in the individual countries throughout the Union, stated Pavlova.

Within the meeting the two ministers also discussed the efforts of Bulgaria to reduce the energy consumption through implementation of energy efficiency measures in the public and housing sector in Bulgaria.
They discussed the coordination of the Danube Strategy, in the field of security, in particular.
