Minister Terzieva: Trakia motorway is a prove that by working for a common goal we will be able to put into practice our visions

The last 34 kilometers of Trakia motorway that we have opened are symbolic. They are a link of the already built parts and lead to a whole motorway. It is a proof that when the Bulgarians work with a common goal in mind, we will be able to realize our dreams, said the Minister of Regional development Desislava Terzieva, during the motorway section opening.
The president Rosen Plevneliev, the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Danail Papazov and the Board Chairman of the Road Infrastructure Agency Lazar Lazarov were the official guests of the opening ceremony of Trakia motorway.
The government will pursue steady policy for the construction of the routes part of the TEN-T network, which will lead to economic growth and employment, she added. 
Minister Terzieva stated the intention to continue the construction of the motorway network with the set-up of the sections of Struma, Maritza and Hemus – motorways. We put a lot of effort to start new road projects, part of the European Infrastructure at the very beginning of the new programming period, she added.
The Minister of Regional Development expressed her gratitude to several generations of road designers, engineers, technicians, who have done a lot of work and have overcome many challenges, so Bulgaria may have a complete motorway from Sofia to Burgas.
