MRDPW and the Bulgarian Building and Construction Chamber signed a memorandum for cooperation

A memorandum for cooperation between the Ministry of regional development and public works and the Bulgarian Building and Construction Chamber signed today minister Asen Gagauzov and the Chairman of BBCC Simeon Peshov. We have made an agreement with BBCC for a new beginning of the relations between the Ministry and the construction business field in Bulgaria to lessen with mutual efforts the number of sub-contractor companies and to enlarge the number of main contractors for the most important construction sites in Bulgaria, stated minister Gagauzov after the signing of the agreement. The memorandum envisages cooperation in the field of normative structure and labour market regulation in construction, in the work in cases of accidents, in the realization of joint actions and in the professional education in the sphere of construction. MRDPW and BBCC will create working groups for the preparation of projects for low and secondary legislation concerning the construction branch. It foresees as well joint offers to the Council of ministers to be made for corrections in PPL with respect of transparency and publicity of the procedures for entrusting public procurements. MRDPW and BBCC will take measures for regulation of the labour market in construction business for to protect the interests of the Bulgarian construction companies and will participate together in international activities in order to strengthen the presence of the Bulgarian construction companies on the foreign markets.
