MRDPW experts took part in the forum “Ideas and investments in construction”

Experts from the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works introduced the changes in legislation related to the construction- investment activities, the possibilities offered by the European Funds for development of the towns and their infrastructure. The European Funds provide serious financial meanings for the modernization of the Bulgarian urban areas, said Deputy Minister Dimcho Mihalevsky who opened the Construction Forum at Sheraton Hotel. He underlined that the absorption of these funds is a challenge for all who take part in the investment process. The Regional Development Operative Program budget envisages 40 % of the overall volume of the financial resources to be targeted for modernization of the urban area. The urban rehabilitation and development is one of the four priorities to be financed by the EU under the program. Public Relations and International Activities Directorate
