The Guidelines for Applicants under the Eighth Call of the Programme have been approved

Nearly €20 million from the Euro-Mediterranean Basin (Euro-MED) 2021-2027 programme will finance thematic projects in the fields of innovation and circular economy, environmental protection and restoration, and the development of green urban spaces. On October 1st, the eighth call for project proposals of the program will be opened, and the final Application Guidelines, the Program Guide and the registration information for the information session have been approved and can already be found on the official page of the call.

The approved projects will have to be implemented within 24 months, each of which will be able to count on a maximum budget of EUR 2 million. Each project will have to involve at least five organisations from five different countries in the programme scope. Proposals can be submitted until 14:00 on 13 November via the Jems electronic system. Approved projects will be presented orally to an evaluation committee by the lead partners.

The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in its capacity as National Programme Authority provides 15% national co-financing for the Bulgarian partners in the approved projects. Funding under the programme covers 80% of the partner's budget and the remaining 5% represents the beneficiary's own contribution.

For organizations that have a project idea but are still looking for suitable partners, the program maintains a specialized partner search forum: https://interreg-euro-med.eu/en/get-involved/#FindProjectPartners. The tool allows potential applicants to submit project ideas, express interest in participating in partnerships and establish contact with organisations from other countries in the programme scope.
