On 26 February 2004 Minister Valentin Cerovski leaves for a three-day working visit to Portlaoise, Ireland, where he will take part in an informal meeting of the ministers in charge of regional policy, from the member countries and the EU applicant countries. The forum is a part of the initiatives within the Irish EU Presidency. It is hosted by Tom Parlon TD, Minister of State at the Department of Finance with special responsibility for the Office of Public Works in The Irish Government. The European Commission Commissioner Michel Barnier will also take part in the meeting and he will present the key issues of the Third Report on Economic and Social Cohesion. Topics related to the EU structural and cohesive policy will be discussed at the Portlaoise meeting. During his visit to Ireland Minister Valentin Cerovski will meet with our compatriots and will present books to the children from the Bulgarian Sunday School in Dublin, established last autumn by representatives of the Bulgarian Community.
