“Providing an accessible social environment” was the matter, discussed by MRRB during the “Open day at the EU”

The control on providing an accessible social environment was the issue, discussed by MRRB (The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works) during the “Open day at the EU“. The campaign is organized in connection with The International Day of Disabled Persons. The campaign is held thanks to the partnership of Sofia Municipality .Questions, related to the stats system and the housing, were the main topics, discussed along with the visitors. It aims at the encouraging of open and effective policy to the disabled persons. The campaign’s goal is to convince the society of the advantages of their full integration in the political, cultural and social life of the country.
Citizens, who participated in the initiative, had the opportunity to meet experts from MRRB, and to present their issues and ask their questions.
The issues, discussed on the meeting at the Ministry, will be referred to as particular suggestions to the organizations dealing with disabled people.
MRRB is proud to say that is one of the first administrative buildings, accessible for disabled persons and persons with law mobility. A lift, lavatory and inside and outdoor platform had been built, according to the regulations.
